Compensate SI - OSHA 300A Export for electronic submission

Version 6.3.7 of Compensate SI has a new feature that can provide an export file for the OSHA 300A Summary Electronic Submission of Injury and Illness Records.   The Export is available on the Year End Menu, under OSHA, labeled OSHA 300A Export.

The following window will be displayed


  • Select the Primary or Secondary Work Center, and the list of Work Centers will be populated.
  • Check the box of the Work Centers you wish to report on.
  • Enter the start and ending date range
  • Click Create.

The Export will file will be placed in Compensates EDI\OSHA folder.  A windows explorer window will open with the files location.

 Please note, each Work Center:

  • Must have a unique name
  • Address should not contain a PO Box address
  • Must have a 6 digit NAICS code
  • Must have a Size for the Work Center defined as
    • The size of the establishment based on the maximum number of employees which worked there at any point in the year you are submitting data for.
  • Annual Average Employees must be between 0 and 25,000
  • Total Hours Worked divided by Annual Average Employees must be < 8,760
  • Total Hours Worked divided by Annual Average Employees should be > 500

Outpatient Fee Schedule for Ohio effective 5-1-2016

Ohio has posted a new out patient CCR fee schedule.  Clients that are current on their support will receive the schedule in their next update.

2016 ASC Fee Schedule for Ohio Posted

The 2016 ASC fee schedule for Ohio has been posted and is effective 5-1-2016.
Customers who are current on their support contracts will receive the fee schedule in their next update.

2016 Ohio State Fund Private Employer Rates Posted

The State of Ohio has published their 2016 private employers rates.  Customers who are current on their support contract will receive the new tables on their next upgrade.

Customers are reminded that they should never use any of this information to project state fund premiums.  
There is no support available for problems with projecting premiums.

Revised - Provider Fee Schedule for Ohio Effective 01/01/2016

The Ohio BWC has revised the 01/01/2016 fee schedule as of 3/01/2016.  The new fee schedule is attached below.
All customers with current support will receive the new fee schedule on their next update.

New Inpatient CCR Table for Ohio effective 02-01-2016

The Ohio BWC has published a new CCR table for inpatient services effective 2-1-2016.

All customers on support will receive this update on their next upgrade.

2016 Kentucky Wage Information

The 2016 wage rates are available here.  Attached is a copy of the information as provided from the state and a word document that shows how your screen should look when you get done adding the information to your systems.
To Input the 2016 Min Max values:
   1. In the maintenance menu select the Compensation pull down and
      choose Min/Max Compensation Awards
   2. In the  screen click New
   3. Fill in the blanks as shown.
   4. When finished click OK


New Ohio CPT Fee Schedule 1-1-2016

Ohio has posed the new CPT fee schedule for 2016.  

Interesting Items are
  • Anesthesia rate has changed from $2.942/minute to $2.901/minute
  • New anesthesia modifier 'AD' pays at 50% of state fee max.
The updated fee schedules and rules will be included in the next update for clients currently on support.
