Compensate SI - OSHA 300A Export for electronic submission

Version 6.3.7 of Compensate SI has a new feature that can provide an export file for the OSHA 300A Summary Electronic Submission of Injury and Illness Records.   The Export is available on the Year End Menu, under OSHA, labeled OSHA 300A Export.

The following window will be displayed


  • Select the Primary or Secondary Work Center, and the list of Work Centers will be populated.
  • Check the box of the Work Centers you wish to report on.
  • Enter the start and ending date range
  • Click Create.

The Export will file will be placed in Compensates EDI\OSHA folder.  A windows explorer window will open with the files location.

 Please note, each Work Center:

  • Must have a unique name
  • Address should not contain a PO Box address
  • Must have a 6 digit NAICS code
  • Must have a Size for the Work Center defined as
    • The size of the establishment based on the maximum number of employees which worked there at any point in the year you are submitting data for.
  • Annual Average Employees must be between 0 and 25,000
  • Total Hours Worked divided by Annual Average Employees must be < 8,760
  • Total Hours Worked divided by Annual Average Employees should be > 500
